This is one of the best ICD-9 app I have ever used, and it is free. Thanks.
This is one of the best ICD-9 app I have ever used, and it is free. Thanks.
Need to be updated for October.
What more is there to say?
Its a really good app but... Ever since the update ... The search is difficult to select the actual icd-9 code because its hidden under the search bar ... Please fix
Liked the application itself but a Bing advertisement video popped up every time I tapped in the application and then I had to close that to continue. Deleted app b/c I dont have time to fight with Bing every time I need a code.
Finding codes with a search WAS convenient and sometimes faster than my nurse could do it with her book. The new Bing video that pops up after some update has to be remedied. It is ANNOYING AS HE** and very intrusive and renders the app useless. I thought it was a virus or something at first. I am now switching to "ICD9 Consult" app that is free instead. Would consider the paid app if it was a few bucks but the "full version" is an outrageous $29.99!!!!
poor, inefficient search for ex: typing "preop exam" gives a dx but typing "exam preop" doesnt. typing the same abbreviation as their database gives a dx but typing the whole correct diagnosis does not. Add in ads. Already uninstalled app.
Easy to use, and this program is better than the other one I tried, but I had only been using it a few minutes before I found a 5th digit subcategory that isnt there. In something as precise as coding is expected to be thats a problem. I was hoping I could get by without lugging that huge book around - but thinking all of these programs still have a little work to do before I can rely on them instead of the book.
After downloading, I have found that it is organized in an average manner. This app contains absolutely nothing innovative and is certainly no better than other iCD apps. To make matters worse, in iOS7, the app updated but is stuck in"waiting" only accessible through the "open" tab in the App Store.
I recommended this app to all providers, this is one of those esentioal apps to always have at had to quickly look up a billing code. In future, would it be possible to combine this app with the ICD 10 app too so can have them both in one place?
