Great help for my receptionist and I. Rapid access to ICD9 codes without using that huge, old, coffee-stained book, [ always buried under a load of paperwork].

completely WORTHLESS without a search bar!!! Will someone PLEASE come out with an ICD9 code app WITH A SEARCH BAR?!?!
This is just a short description flatfile made into an iPhone "pretty" app. There is no search and it doesnt give you opportunity to view north than the short description. Id might as well print out the CMS data file since it would me more useful!
It is free, it is definitely useful and an excellent use of the database capability of a hand held device. I would purchase the full version in a qrs (sorry couldnt resist) if search is available. Skyscape makes an icd program for palm, so beat em to the punch.
Cant beat the price!
No search = mostly useless. Also the screenshot does not represent the installed program.
Thanks to the developer for allowing us to use the Lite version for free. I would buy the full version immediately if search is added in an update. But without it Ill continue to use my desktop ICD-9 search program.
You cant beat the free price, but thats for old codes, not the current ones. Furthermore, STAT ICD-9 has abbreviated names and no descriptions. It doesnt let you store a favorites list. It doesnt make it easy to see which codes are for specific vs. non-specific items. It generally feels like someone has directly ported a mid-90s Palm program to the iPhone. I got the recently released ICD9 Consult, instead, which has all those things this program is missing, plus procedure codes, and Ive been quite happy with it so far.
Great free app for quick look-up of ICD9 codes. You can burrow down by system, or click the magnifying glass in the top right corner to search for a code or disease/injury. Note - this app does not include codes for procedures.
Great utility. How about one for cpt codes as well.
Updating the searchinpeoved this app. could use CPT codes
Ok so far. I got it for the mental disorders part. However please consider having another app for DSM for mental disorders along with symptoms. Thousand of counselors will appreciate that.
Could u guys add a save option so that u can save frequently used codes? This would truely complete this APP
Not useful without search. DSM code cross-referencing would be very useful to mental health workers if added.
What is this even for?
Would like to have this app stricktly for lab codes.
I love this app! I use it in my pharmacy when insurance companies require a diagnosis code for a claim. Unfortunately it crashes at launch now so I am waiting for another update or an adequate alternative.
This was a great help for MRI orders from dr offices!
Yes, there is a search capability. The magnifying glass left upper corner - click on that. This works well for Family Practice. Quick, quite extensive.
Great app for looking up ICD-9 codes, esp in the office.
